Campaign: | To challenge traditional gender stereotypes |
Having sexist comments thrown at you or people saying you can’t do something, can be quite demoralising.
People often have these preconceived ideas about gender roles, but there’s nothing stopping anyone from doing what they want in life.
I’ve sometimes found that for a girl, if you are too loud or too bossy, that’s a bad thing. But if you are a boy you’re thought of as confident or strong, which can be hard to overcome.
My team and I are working with Fixers to challenge traditional stereotypes of men and women.
Hopefully, our campaign will change the way people perceive gender and provide equal opportunities for everyone.
