Campaign: | To encourage victims of bullies to know that life can get better |
When I was in school I was bullied by a group of girls who started rumours about me.
I ended up being the recipient of nasty text messages and social media posts.
The effect this had on my mental health was detrimental as I ended up living with depression for three years and leaving school with no GCSEs.
This was when I realised I wanted to have a better life and career and so I turned my life around; now I’m studying to be a police officer.
I want to show others in similar situations that life does get better and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
