Campaign: | To show that everyone is perfect in their own way |
My team and I are concerned that young women can feel the pressure to be ‘perfect’ in every element of their lives.
They may feel they have to achieve academically, be the best at their career, have an immaculate home, a flawless body, a close family and an amazing social life.
This way of thinking can be drilled into us by those around us or the media, but it can also come from conclusions we draw on our own.
With Fixers, we want to show that this idea of perfection doesn’t exist. Everybody should feel comfortable in their own skin and confident enough to follow their own path.
We want young people to be happy with who they are.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Amber Benson | Danielle Aurelius-Lake |
Georgiana Chirac | Pascalie Scipio |

Affinity Sutton, one of the largest housing associations in England, is backing our campaign.
With over 57,000 homes and a 100-year history, the charitable organisation is working in partnership with Fixers to help support young people across the country to address the issues they want to fix.
November 2015
We launched our Fixers film at the Organ Hall Community Centre to an audience of young people. Among those attending was Corina Best from 21st Century Female who was amazed with how effective the film is. You can read some of the other comments we received below:
'I really enjoyed this video and I thought it was very empowering!'
'This was inspirational! I need to watch it again!'
