Most people know that alcohol abuse can cause health problems such as liver disease, but there are other complications associated with it too.Someone I know was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after years of heavy drinking.It’s worrying because most people aren’t aware of the sugar content in alcoholic drinks.My team and I are working with Fixers to help raise awareness and educate people about the potential risks of having too much sugar in their diet.If they realise what is in their drinks, maybe they will think twice before choosing them.
