Campaign: | To encourage friendlier relationships between bus drivers and young people |
We’re keen to improve relationships between bus drivers and young people where we live in Dorset.
We’ve found that in some cases bus drivers can feel intimidated by young people, while young people can also feel intimidated by bus drivers, which causes tension.
This can stem from misunderstandings and negative stereotypes of both groups.
With Fixers, we want to help make public transport friendlier by reminding young people how to behave on buses and encouraging them to get to know their drivers.
We also want to show drivers that not all young people are hooligans.
If we can create a greater understanding between bus drivers and their passengers, we believe we could make the services happier and friendlier places to be.
Here is a list of Fixers helping us with this Fix:
Ben Macklin
Charlotte Mansell
Jake Perkins
