Name: Mathilda Mansfield
Age: 19
Year of the Fix: 2016
Location: Manchester
Campaign: To challenge negative stereotypes of homeless people

When I first moved to Manchester I didn’t have much and I could have ended up on the streets. ThankfuIly I got by, but others aren’t so lucky.

Many have a negative image of homeless people, but there are lots of reasons why someone might become homeless and it can happen to anyone.

People tend to ignore those living on the streets, but we shouldn’t forget that we are all human.

With Fixers, my team and I want to challenge negative misconceptions surrounding homelessness and encourage others to think about how they could help those in need.

We hope our campaign can have a real impact. Everyone deserves a chance in life.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:

Alex Worrall James Webster
Calum Wrath Jitendra Shah
Charlotte Cash Matt Hill
Chijioke Anosike Nick Counsell
Cody Rennie Reece Durham
Demi Morrell Shanen Moore
