I really struggled with anxiety in school, which got so bad that I had to drop out.
People with mental health issues can often feel alone and isolated, which is why I’m promoting more education in schools.
My team and I, who have all been through similar experiences, are working with Fixers to make it easier for teachers to identify when a student may be struggling and know how they can help.
Hopefully our campaign can improve the way mental health is dealt with and ultimately help those who are affected by it to move forward.
I would like to thank Alanna Wright, Fiona Proffit, Emma Mackintosh and Megan Stuart for helping me with this Fix.
We are part of an Activity Agreement group supported by Falkirk Council Children's Services.
