I’ve been left paralysed from the neck down after I decided to get into a car with a drunk driver. They took a corner too wide. Two people died and I was seriously injured. It’s changed my life forever and I want to use my story as a warning for others. Before the accident, my friends and I didn’t think drink driving was that serious an issue and didn’t consider its potential consequences. But now I am proof that people should never drink drive. With Fixers, I want to show young people that they’re not invincible and that driving after drinking alcohol is both dangerous and life-threatening.I hope to help others understand that it is never worth taking the risk.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Mike Porter, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service
Mike supports my Fix. He agreed to be interviewed to appear in my TV film.
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
