Year of the Fix: 2015
Location: Cardiff
Campaign: To show that people of all nationalities should be treated with respect

We are a group of young people from diverse backgrounds, who have been targeted by bullies in the past.

We believe that everyone should be treated with respect, no matter what their nationality.

Many of us are Czech and have experienced hurtful name-calling and negative comments about our appearance.

Some of the men in our group have been challenged to fights by those who just want to start an argument.

With Fixers, we want to show that where people are from doesn’t matter. We’re all human.

Here is list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:

David Dirda

Jirka Jedek

Martin Jedek

Mohammed Khalil

Rita Assani

September 2015

We launched our Fixers posters at Eastmoors Community Centre in Cardiff and we received positive feedback. You can read some of the comments below.

'This is really cool and it encourages people to embrace who they truly are.'

'I really like the posters and they are right - we are all 100% human.'

'It shouldn't matter where you are from, you should always have respect.'
