Campaign: | To encourage young people to appreciate different styles of music |
We are a group of young people from Birmingham with a passion for music.
We’re from diverse backgrounds, but music brings us together and unites us.
In our experience, young people can be judged by the style of music they choose to listen to.
People can be dismissive of genres they don’t know much about.
With Fixers, we’ve helped create a booklet to offer insight into different styles of music and their origins.
We hope to help broaden young people’s minds and encourage them to appreciate a range of different sounds.
Here is a list of Fixers helping with this Fix:

Our Fixers project has been supported by the Cabinet Office’s Youth Social Action Fund.
As part of the Cabinet Office initiative ‘Step Up to Serve’, which is spearheaded by HRH The Prince of Wales, Fixers is working in partnership with the Youth Social Action Fund (YSAF) to offer the Fixer experience specifically to young people in Birmingham and parts of Kent.
