Campaign: | To show young people that peer mentors are here to help |
My team and I are peer mentors. We work with young people who have behavioural issues, to help them reach their full potential.
We all have experience of overcoming similar difficulties and know what it’s like to feel alone and misunderstood.
With Fixers, we want to show others that peer mentors are here to help.
They can support students with their studies, while encouraging them to express themselves, so they don’t feel so isolated.
We’re hoping more young people will come forward – to reach out to peer mentors and to talk.
Here is a list of people helping me with this Fix:
Mia Brooks
Rebecca Cooke
Toni Knorz-Williams
Thank you also to Thomas, Brandon, Katie and Carwyn, who are outside the 16-25 Fixers age range, but have worked with us on this project.
Ceri Morgans, Headlands School
Ceri Morgans, School Projects Manager at Headlands School, supports our Fix. She put us in touch with Fixers and has helped facilitate our project.
