Arshad

Name: Arshad Daud
Age: 17
Year of the Fix: 2015
Location: Leicester
Campaign: To stop people stereotyping those with unseen disabilities

I have epilepsy and began having seizures when I was 10.

It made school life quite difficult and caused me to develop anxiety, because I was worried about how people would react.

With Fixers, my team and I want to encourage others to see beyond a person’s hidden disability.

Everyone is an individual and you should get to know them. No-one should feel like they’re being judged based on an illness or medical condition.

Gurpinya Kaur, Haleema Sadia and Sophie Watson are helping me with this Fix.
