My mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2014, which was very hard to deal with.I found lots of support on the internet for under-18s and for parents of terminally ill children, but nothing for people my age. I felt so isolated. Now, I’m working with Fixers to show others in my situation that they’re not alone. It’s difficult, but without raising awareness, we won’t be able to talk about it.I see this as my opportunity to help others.
Thank you to Kayla Laisby for helping me with this Fix.
