I often felt quite insecure growing up.I didn’t really know how to deal with it at first and I thought nobody else felt the same way.
Then I found street dance, which helped. It’s a really great way to express your emotions without having to say anything. My team and I are working with Fixers to show how activities like dance can improve mental wellbeing.I would love to help others find their escape - just like I did.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Northern Trust’s Eating Disorders Service Imelda McCloud, Clinical Services Manager, supports our Fix. She agreed to be interviewed to appear in our broadcast piece.
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Shak & Natasha
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
