As well as being a youth worker, I play football for Cushendall FC.
Because we don’t have adequate training facilities in my home town, my team mates and I have to travel around 25 miles to Larne just so we can practice.
In order to improve the situation, we’re campaigning for decision-makers to build an all-weather football pitch in Cushendall.
We believe this will not only benefit young people who will have somewhere to play, but also bring together people from across the community.
Our aim is to make our town a better place for everybody and we think this is a great way of doing that.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
The Glens Youth Club
Claire Thompson from the youth club supported the project by allowing us to shoot our Fixers film there.
Ruairi Og CLG
Niall Kearney helped with research for our project.
Shak & Natasha
