Campaign: | To show others that making music can be therapeutic |
I’ve been performing since I was 14-years-old. Music is my way of expressing myself.
Channelling your emotions in to lyrics and turning that into a track can be very therapeutic.
I’ve worked with a former marine who experienced PTSD after returning home from Afghanistan. He used music to deal with his emotions and benefited hugely.
Now, with Fixers, I want to offer other young people the opportunity to have their voices heard and learn about the industry.
Everyone has a story to tell and music is a great way to make sure others hear it.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Craig Breen
Leonie Westbrook
Louie Baker
Lindsay McHale, Music Therapist
Lindsay supports my Fix. She agreed to be interviewed to appear in my TV film.
Derik Bilwapda
Derek supports my project. He provided technical support in the music studio where we filmed my broadcast piece.
Thank you also to Taryn Everdeen and Jennifer Pallister who took part in a discussion group and spoke about how music affected their lives.
