Campaign: | To help stop cyberbullying |
My team and I are concerned about the number of young people who experience cyberbullying, when no-one should have to suffer this type of abuse.
It can have a serious impact on a young person’s mental health, potentially triggering conditions like depression and anxiety.
With Fixers and the rest of my group, I want to raise awareness of the issue and show bullies the possible impact of their behaviour.
I hope our campaign will convince others that cyberbullying is not a joke. It’s hurtful and can be extremely damaging.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Conor McNulty
Leouna Gillespie
Michaela Baxter
Séafra Gallagher
Shannon Hamilton
Connor Logue

Sergeant Joni Beatty supports our Fix. She agreed to be interviewed to appear in our broadcast piece.
Margaret Humphrey is the youth group coordinator and supported our project by putting us in touch with Fixers and helping to arrange meetings.
