I’m part of a group of young carers, who look after dependent loved ones. But despite our extensive responsibilities, we often feel overlooked and ignored, because people don’t always understand what we do.With Fixers, we want to help raise the profile of young carers and show the value of our work.We want people, including health care professionals and our peers, to acknowledge the role we play at home.

Thank you also to Liam Hurrell and Megan Cooper who are outside the 16-25 Fixers age range but have worked with us on this project.
Maureen Muckersie, Devon County Council
Maureen supports our project. She agreed to be interviewed to appear in our broadcast piece and has also offered to use our Fixers film in training courses run by the council.
The team at Bright Futures support our Fix. They've helped facilitate our project by setting up our meetings with Fixers.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
