My team and I want others to appreciate the benefits of dance.
At school, I was quite shy, but I found that dance gave me self-esteem, confidence and social skills. It’s made me the person that I am today.
With Fixers and the rest of my group, I want to show young people that dance can help them make better choices in life.
For someone who has no direction, it can provide both structure and routine – raising their aspirations.
Together, we want to encourage others to try dance so they can experience its positive effects for themselves.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Sally Trevithick, Targeted Youth Worker, Cornwall CouncilSally supports this Fixers project. She agreed to be interviewed to appear in my broadcast piece.
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
