Campaign: To raise awareness of the consequences of unsafe sex

My team and I are concerned that too many young people have unsafe sex, so we want to educate them about the potentially life-changing consequences of not using protection.

These can include sexually transmitted infections, which can have lasting effects, and pregnancy.

We’re urging young people, who feel ready to have a sexual relationship, to use contraception such as a condom.

We also want both people involved to know the risks.

Sex should always be safe.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:

Charlotte Clark Gary Tidy
Kane Cantey Louis Choules
Luke Kelleher Sophie Brown
Thalia Fernandez Umar Okur
Winona Sharpe Charley Davies
Zoe Brocknam

Our Fixers project was supported by the Cabinet Office’s Youth Social Action Fund.

As part of the Cabinet Office initiative ‘Step Up to Serve’, which is spearheaded by HRH the Prince of Wales, Fixers is working in partnership with the Youth Social Action Fund (YSAF) to offer the Fixer experience specifically to young people aged between 16 and 20 in Birmingham and parts of Kent.

Quarterdeck Youth Centre

The team at the youth centre support our Fix. They provided us with a space to launch our Fixers film.
