I know people who have experienced mental health conditions. It can be a really difficult time, but talking to someone can make things easier.I’m passionate about making a difference and believe it’s important to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health, so that young people feel able to speak about their issues. With Fixers and the rest of my team, I’m targeting students at university. We want to show those who are feeling stressed, anxious or depressed that they’re not alone, and that talking to someone is the first step towards recovery.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Our Fixers project is supported by Simplyhealth which helps people care for their everyday health through health cash plans, dental plans and independent living solutions.
With over 140-years of history in the healthcare market, the organisation is working in partnership with Fixers to help support young people to have their voices heard on the subject of mental health.
