Campaign: | To help people better understand ME |
I was diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) at the age of 12. It’s a condition which I feel is often misunderstood and it can be extremely debilitating.
It’s had a huge impact on my life and often causes me to experience extreme fatigue and tiredness.
My mission is to raise awareness of this invisible illness, so that others understand that ME is something that can affect anyone.
People who have the condition need to be taken seriously and not made to feel alone or rejected.
Lottie Helm and Sophie Tallontire have helped me with this Fix.
Professor Julia Newton, Newcastle University
Professor Newton from the university supported my project by explaining more about ME in my broadcast film.
