I was bullied at school, which made me feel alone. My confidence was low and I’d hate having to face the same people day after day.
It was only when I started learning magic that things began to turn around.
The bullying stopped and for the first time in my life, I felt unique and valued.
I want to encourage young people to pursue their passions and not be afraid to aim high.
With Fixers, I hope to give them the confidence to follow their dreams and ambitions, without fear of failure.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
University of Cumbria
Joanne Watson, Careers and Employability Advisor at the University of Cumbria, supports our Fix. She was interviewed for the TV piece.
Carlisle Youth Zone
Matt Williams, Youth Leader at Carlisle Youth Zone, supports our Fix. He put us in touch with Fixers and has attended all our meetings. He provided space for us to meet and has helped us throughout our project.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
Tilly and Bella
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Shak & Natasha
