Young people need to be aware that cancer can affect all ages.
Identifying it early can make a real difference, so it’s important that everyone knows the symptoms to look out for.
Signs include significant weight loss, fatigue and lumps, bumps or swelling, and anyone experiencing these changes should see their doctor.
With Fixers, my team and I want to help make sure that young people don’t ignore the warnings.
If they’re worried by any symptoms, they should seek advice as soon as they can.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Teenage Cancer Trust
The team at the Teenage Cancer Trust have been supportive throughout our project. They’ve helped us collate further information and statistics for our campaign.
Vanessa Griffiths, a Public Service tutor at Coleg Cambria, has supported our Fix. She’s helped facilitate our project and has assisted with things like printing at the college.
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
