Campaign: To improve relations between different generations in our community

People of different generations don’t always understand each other.


Younger people can be perceived as troublemakers, and stereotypes can be attached to older members of the community too.


With Fixers, my team and I want to help bridge the gap between young and old, by bringing people together to share stories and experiences.


I think things could be improved if we all took the time to speak to each other, even if it’s no more than a simple “hello” in the street.


These small gestures of kindness help to put good feeling back into the community, and this makes it a happier place to be.

Llandrindod Wells Youth Club

The team at the youth club supported our Fix by offering us a place to meet. Katie Cleaves, Lead Youth Worker, also provided assistance while we were filming our broadcast piece.
