Campaign: | To show others the dangers of legal highs |
I don’t think young people are aware of just how dangerous legal highs can be.
Their name is misleading and I want others to be aware that their ingredients are often unsafe for human consumption.
Legal highs have been responsible for death and injury in the past, yet I would often hear stories of how my friends had been to parties and seen someone taking them.
It’s important for people to see the actual dangers of these substances and know that what they’re taking might not be legal, and is definitely not safe.
Thank you to Chris Blake, Justin Lee and Shawn Derbyshire for helping me with this Fix.
Sergeant Chris White and the team from Sussex Police
Thank you for appearing in my broadcast to support my campaign, researching the topic, and offering information on the legal status of drugs.
Dr Owen Bowden-Jones, Club Drug Clinic
Dr Owen Bowden-Jones who offered information about legal highs in my broadcast piece.
The Angelus Foundation who helped with the research and allowed us to use their stills free of charge.
Thank you to the young people who gave up their time anonymously to share their stories and help with the film.
