Living with cerebral palsy can be difficult.
I can’t walk and need help with nearly everything because my arms don’t work properly.
However, discovering pony carriage driving four years ago gave me a new lease on life and a sense of freedom.
I became more confident and realised that I can be independent regardless of my disability.
My Fixers campaign is to encourage people of all abilities to discover the benefits of sport like I did.
Hopefully, it will inspire others to see how pursuing new challenges can actually change your life.
Scottish Disability Sport
Sandra Proudfoot supported my Fix by providing an interview for the broadcast item, where she explained some of the benefits sport can offer.
Chariots of Fire Driving Centre
My carriage driving school strongly supports my Fix and allowed the Fixers broadcast team to film one of my practice sessions at the facility.
A special thank you to my mum, Sonia, who appeared in my TV story, saying how carriage driving has helped me personally.
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
