I live with joint hypermobility syndrome.
It has stopped me from achieving my dream professions, due to the increased chances of dislocating my limbs, yet very few health professionals have heard of it.
Having hypermobility is often painful and even simple tasks like opening up a can of drink means I risk serious injury.
I want more doctors and others in the medical profession to be aware of the condition and I am campaigning to shed light on the topic.
I know there are others living in the UK with the same 'hidden illness' and I believe that support should be readily available for those living with hypermobility issues.
Thank you to Alexander Bond for helping me with this Fix.
