Living with multiple sclerosis (MS) can be extremely challenging at times.
Because I often experience muscle fatigue, I require mobility aids to get around.
But despite remaining positive, my life is made harder when people make snap judgements about me and assume that I’m not as capable as others.
It can be really upsetting and makes me feel quite marginalised.
With Fixers, I’m challenging these negative stereotypes by showing that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
Hopefully, it will encourage more people to see the person and not the disability.
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
