Name: Amy Arnott
Age: 18
Year of the Fix: 2014
Location: Bangor, County Down
Campaign: To help stop human trafficking

Most people think that human trafficking is something that happens abroad, in other countries.

When I found out that it’s happening here in Northern Ireland, I was sincerely shocked – especially to know that many people are trafficked internally, between local towns and cities.

A group of friends from my youth club and I have decided to raise awareness of this issue.

With our Fixers campaign, we want to inform the public about human trafficking and encourage them to report any suspicious activity they feel may be linked to the exploitation of others.

No one should have to go through this – no one should have to suffer in this way.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:

Blair Hilditch
Charlotte McConville
Elisha Coulter
Ethan Guress
Jamie-leigh Jelley
Jordan Gregg
Kerri Prickard
Matthew Liggett
Samantha Smallwood
Scott Russell
