As a group, we’re involved in a project called Safe For Kentwhich raises awareness of mental health issues within local schools.
It’s something we feel passionate about because most of us have either had experience of a mental health condition, or know someone who has.
We feel there’s a stigma that prevents people from talking about their problems and want to break that down.
Young people need to see that, just like physical illnesses, having a mental health issue is nothing to be ashamed of.
With Fixers, we're working on a film to let others know that it’s okay not to be okay, but to encourage them to speak out and tell someone if they have something on their mind.

Sevenoaks Youth Theatre Sevenoaks Youth Theatre are supporting our Fix. We’re recruiting a number of actors from the group to appear in our Fixers film.
Safe For Kent Richard Webb from Voluntary Action within Kent, the organisation that manages Safe, is backing our Fix. Safe supports young people within schools to raise awareness of mental health issues. Richard is helping us to facilitate our Fixers project.
