Cooking is my passion. It gives me the chance to try new things and get creative.
Sadly, because we live in an age of fast food, many young people don’t get the opportunity to gain this valuable skill.
Cooking doesn’t have to be a chore; it's loads of fun and can help you to learn new things.
With Fixers, my team and I have created a Funky Food campaign, which includes a series of recipe cards.
Each one gives instructions on how to make simple yet tasty dishes at minimum expense.
We hope they can be used as an educational resource in school cookery classes and get more young people excited about food.
A special thank you to fellow Fixer Carmen Beaton who helped me with my Fix.
I also want to thank participants Emma MacRae and Beth Porter, who helped make the recipes with us.
